The Balıkesir University Technology Transfer Office (BAÜN TTO) provides services to support the research and innovation activities of our academics, protect the resulting outputs, and develop collaboration opportunities with the industry.

R&D project applications to be carried out within our university and applications for industrial property rights (patent, utility model, geographical indication, trademark, and design) are conducted through BAÜN TTO within the framework of relevant legislation and university practices. Our office provides the necessary guidance and consultancy to our academics during the application processes.

BAÜN TTO also stands by our academics as the authorized unit in technology transfer, university-industry collaborations, consultancy services, and commercialization processes. Our faculty members can always apply to our office with the aim of transforming their research into social benefit and economic value.
