Balıkesir University Represented at Research Deaneries Workshop

Balıkesir University was represented at the 4th Research Deans Workshop, hosted by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) on 19-20 November 2025. The workshop brought together public institutions, universities, funding organisations and stakeholders in the research ecosystem.

The workshop, held at the Troia Cultural Centre, was attended by Çanakkale Governor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Toraman, Chief Public Prosecutor Dr. Özkan Gürdoğan, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, university rectors, research deans and teams from various regions of Turkey, NGO representatives and academics.

Representing Balıkesir University at the workshop were Edremit MYO Director Prof. Dr. Selami Selvi, Project Support Entrepreneurship and Innovation Coordination Coordinator Prof. Dr. Feyzullah Tokay, Coordinator Assistant Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Diken, and BAÜN TTO representative Dr. Lecturer Fuat Kılıç. Represented
