BAÜN Takes Another Significant Step in Patenting
A cooperation agreement was signed between Balıkesir University Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and Balıkesir University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine academic Prof. Dr. Göksen Ayalp, Faculty of Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering academic Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Gür, and private sector partners Çetin Bozkurt and Melike Çetin. The cooperation agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl, Head of the Technology Transfer Office and Vice Rector, and Prof. Dr. Göksen Ayalp on behalf of the project team, at a signing ceremony also attended by TTO Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Tolun and Dr. Abdullah Erkul, Head of the TTO Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights Unit. Ziyarette, Teknoloji Transfer Ofisi’nin üniversitede bilgi ve teknoloji üretimi, girişimcilik faaliyetleri ve sanayi iş birliklerini destekleyen önemli bir yapı olduğu vurgulandı. Ayrıca, TTO’nun yürüttüğü çalışmaların sürdürülebilir şekilde devam ettirilmesinin önemi üzerinde duruldu.
