Change of Guard at BAÜN Technology Transfer Office

A change of leadership took place at Balıkesir University's Technology Transfer Office. The Technology Transfer Office Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Şükrü Metin Pancarcı, handed over his duties to Balıkesir Vocational School lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Tolun.

At the handover ceremony held at the Rector's Office, which was also attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt and Prof. Dr. Murat Doğdubay, Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu presented a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Şükrü Metin Pancarcı, who was handing over his duties, and wished Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Tolun success in her new role.

In his speech, Rector Oğurlu emphasised the importance of the work done by founding coordinator Prof. Dr. Şükrü Metin Pancarcı, stating, "Since the establishment of our Technology Transfer Office, our professor has worked tirelessly to ensure its continued existence and development during difficult times. I believe we have now overcome the difficult period and the establishment phase. Now is the time for expansion. This is a baton handover and a race. This task has now been entrusted to Professor Fatmagül. We are confident that her successful work will lead to a very positive development."
