Conference on R&D and University-Industry Collaboration in the Aviation Sector at Balıkesir University

TUSAŞ University Relations Manager, participated as a speaker in the conference, which was organised within the framework of R&D and University-Industry Cooperation in the Aviation Sector. The event, held at the Malazgirt Conference Hall of the BAÜN Atatürk Congress and Culture Centre, was attended by BAÜN Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Göktaş, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Aslan Deniz Karaoğlan, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Prof. Dr. Türkan Göksal Özbalta, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Sibel Ergün, Director of the Continuing Education Application and Research Centre Prof. Dr. Hakan Önal, Technology Transfer Office Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Tolun, BAÜN International Information and Technology Society Academic Advisor Dr. Lecturer İsmail Caner, academic and administrative staff, and students.

The conference began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the Turkish National Anthem, followed by opening speeches by BAÜN Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl and Technology Transfer Office Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Tolun. Dr. Süleyman Demir, TUSAŞ University Relations Manager, provided information about the content, purpose, and opportunities offered by the LIFT UP programmes. In his speech, he emphasised the importance of university-industry cooperation and underlined its significant contributions to developing human resources in our country's aviation and space industry.

The conference continued with a question-and-answer session with Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl, Technology Transfer Office Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Tolun, and International Information and Technology Society Academic Advisor Dr. Lecturer İsmail Caner, followed by a group photo.
