Participation in the SANTEK Meeting from Balıkesir University

The first meeting of the Industry and Technology Cooperation Council (SANTEK) for 2025 was held on 30 September 2025, chaired by Deputy Governor Dr. Mustafa İLHAN, coordinated by the Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology, and hosted at the South Marmara Development Agency Meeting Hall. The meeting was attended by high-level institutional representatives, including Mehmet Şafak, Director of Balıkesir Provincial Industry and Technology. Balıkesir University participated in the meeting with its academics and Technology Transfer Office (BAÜN TTO) team.

The meeting, which saw broad participation, addressed the development of industrial and technological policies, the strengthening of university-industry cooperation, and strategic steps to contribute to regional development. Balıkesir University, together with the Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology and other stakeholder institutions, continues to play an active role in regional cooperation and to contribute to the city's sustainable development goals.
