Patent Training for Innovative Ideas from Balıkesir University

Balıkesir University Technology Transfer Office (BAÜN TTO) held a seminar on ‘Patent Training’. The opening speech of the event, organised in collaboration with Dışpatent Company in the Technology Transfer Office meeting hall, was delivered by Technology Transfer Office Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Tolun.

During the event, which was attended by academics, experts from Dışpatent gave a two-part presentation on current practices in national and international patent processes. Presentations by Patent Specialist Molecular Biologist Zeynep Karaköy, Patent Specialist Chemist Pelin Özçep, and Corporate Portfolio Manager Nurçin Bostancı shared information on ‘Patent Strategies and Operations in the Pharmaceutical Industry’ and ‘Biotechnological Innovations and Molecular Biology Patents.’

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the participants by the Technology Transfer Office Coordinator, Associate Professor Fatmagül Tolun.
